One YNABer has organized this template so you can make your own trip of a lifetime based on her experience. She and her family of five took a vacation to the Disney Magic Kingdom in the Fall of 2023. They did four park days with the Park Hopper pass, five nights at an on-site Disney resort, and six total travel days. The trip total was just shy of $10,000 and they considered it their once-in-a-lifetime family trip. Use this template as a starting point to adjust categories and amounts to fit your own situation and aid in your planning. What to know: "At Disney, the way they do the charges makes it really easy to spend money and not know what you spent. You get Magic Bands which are like bracelet debit cards and that's the key to your room, how you buy food, and everything gets charged at the end (food, souvenirs, and lodging are one lump sum). We knew we only wanted to do Disney World once with our teenagers, so we went big and made it memorable. Now, we'll happily go back to cruise ships!"
