Mika Marcondes de Freitas

I'm a mathematician (PhD, Rutgers 2014) with 20+ years of experience teaching in various capacities, from tutoring young children to college classes to mentoring independent learners.

From 2016 to 2020, I undertook a series of formative overland travel experiments, each lasting several months on the road cycle touring, thru-hiking, or hitchhiking. I rock climb 3–4 times a week and recently became an instructor.

I’ve researched, written, and given talks on intention, opportunity, trade-offs, and commitment. Since 2022, I've taught YNAB and developed my own financial education program, integrating my experience of all these years chasing my dreams.

I hope your life is always incredibly beautiful and happy."

And I'm told they're sitting for the movie with a bucket of "overpriced" popcorn, too.
