Anna Diemer
Need to wrap your brain around budgeting or get a handle on your music studio's finances? I'm a queer & neurodivergent professional singer and voice teacher here to help fellow members of the LGBTQ+ community, creatives, and small business owners learn to budget.
My Background
I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember, so studying music and opening a private voice studio seemed like an inevitable path. But as most millennials who lived through the 2008 recession will agree, it’s been a bit of a winding road! I am a true multi-hyphenate, having worked as a business admin, legal assistant, SAT tutor, and even math teacher before opening my own business. These days, I work to help singers rediscover their voices after injury, surgery, or vocal change, as well as perform opera, choral music, and my own original songs

Why I Coach
How do you get from professional musician to budget coach? I joined YNAB in 2017, which gave me the money mojo to quit my full time job and open my voice studio. I love teaching and helping bring ease to others, whether that is in their speaking and singing voice or in their personal and financial life. After helping some voice teacher friends get on board with YNAB, one strongly recommended that I take this to the next level and become a coach. I'm excited to have another avenue that my studio can serve others!
