Angela Lynn
I help women and single mothers learn to manage money with confidence by creating a budget that reflects your personal goals and values. Whether you're ending the paycheck to paycheck cycle, getting out of debt or saving for a major purchase, I can help!
My Background
I was raised by a single mom who would often work 2-3 jobs just to make ends meet and learned very young that money was scary and unreliable. I struggled in the paycheck to paycheck cycle for all of my adult life & when I had my daughter in 2015, I refused to pass on to her all of the limiting money beliefs I'd learned from my mom. I read every personal finance book I could get my hands on and have been able to put all that information into practice with YNAB. My 8-year-old loves it, too!
Why Work with Me
I believe the world needs more money in the hands of heart-centered women & learning to manage the money we already have is the best first step. I understand the unique financial challenges faced by women and single mothers and have successfully navigated them myself. I have a degree in Psychology, deeply understand human thought & behavior, and use my education to help you create strategies that will keep you consistently engaged with your finances and making progress towards your goals. YNAB has completely changed my life & my finances, and it can for you, too.
Why I Coach
I became a coach to show women how uncomplicated it truly can be to manage money (and manage it well!) so you can end the money stress. Financial health for women simply hasn't been prioritized by our society. We've been left out of financial education and then scrutinized for our spending habits which we've then internalized as guilt and shame. The narrative of "women are bad with money" has been harmful to our progress and is wildly untrue. My goal with coaching is to help you write your own narrative of financial empowerment and success.
